Do you want to make homemade pancakes but don’t want a complicated recipe that you won’t be able to remember after the first time?
I’ve got the recipe for you!
Homemade Pancakes
A simple and filling homemade recipe for pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- Sugar
- Self-rising flour
- Milk
- Fork
- Bowl
- Skillet
- Oil whatever your preference
- Papertowl/napkin
- Syrup plate & fork to enjoy!
Instructions
-
First start by cracking the two eggs into the bowl and add about 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (all depends on how sweet you want them).
-
Stir well with fork.
-
Add milk (about a cup) to the mixture.
-
Stir well.
-
Add 1/2 cup self rising flour and stir until all the flour is 'wet' by the milk.
-
Keep adding the self rising flour and/or milk until you reach your preferred batter consistency.
-
Once you have gotten the consistency you want you will want to pour it onto a hot, oiled down skillet or griddle. (I find that medium high works well for us)
-
Our kids love for me to use our Pampered Chef silicone pancake molds <3
-
Once you start to see the edges bubbling them you can take your spatula and, ever so gently, put it under it and flip to the opposite side.
-
Once you have cooked the amount you want sit down, pour syrup or any other topping of your choice on top - OR NONE, and ENJOY knowing you have a simple and filling homemade recipe for pancakes!
Recipe Notes
*You can start warming your skillet/griddle on LOW heat while you are making the batter.
